Can anyone confirm that a Polar strap will work with a premium HRM from Garmin (with the snaps)? They seem to cost less and have a better reputation.Back to product

I just bought this Polar Strap at http://www.amazon.com/Polar-Soft-Strap-Medium-XX-Large/dp/B007XCLU66/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1429118769&sr=8-1&keywords=polar+heart+rate+monitor+strap to replace this Garmin Strap which I bought in February, 2014 from Amazon here.I snapped the Transmitter Module off the Garmin Strap and tried to snap it onto this Polar Strap but the snaps would not keep the Garmin Transmitter Module in place on the Polar Strap. The distance between the snaps are correct between the Transmitter Module and the Polar Strap but the snaps instantly release the Transmitter Module.
